GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT CULTURE

Oat grains contain high amounts of starch, fat, protein, amino acids and minerals. Oats are used for the production of groats, cereal, oatmeal, flour, malt alcohol and feed. In the bakery just oats are added to wheat or rye flour, since its proteins are not able to form a clear dough. Oat flour is used for jelly and biscuits.
